About the material

Our jewelry is made using 14K gold and 18K gold.
14KGF refers to a material in which a layer of gold is bonded to brass using high heat and pressure, and the weight of the bonded gold layer is 1/20 or more (5% or more) of the total weight including the material.
The thickness of the gold plating (GP) layer for color finishing is generally 0.1 microns (1 micron = 1/1000 mm) or less. Gold plating (GF) is about 20 to 30 times thicker than gold plating.
In the case of gold plating (less than 0.1 microns), the plating layer will wear away in about 3 months to a year due to friction with clothing during use, etc., but gold filled (gold plating) is made with a much thicker layer than gold plating, so it will rarely peel off even with long-term use.
When the gold plating peels off, the underlying nickel becomes exposed, which can cause metal allergies. However, in the case of gold-filled (GF) jewelry, the layer is much thicker than gold plating, so the surface rarely peels off to expose the underlying metal.
In addition, the nickel, chromium, manganese, and cobalt content is less than 0.01%, so it contains almost no substances that generally cause allergies.
For these reasons, it is a popular material in Europe and the United States, and is said to be relatively safe for people with metal allergies.
*It is not guaranteed that allergies will not occur in everyone. Depending on your physical condition, there may be times when you are more sensitive to the product, so please discontinue use if it does not suit your skin.

Cashmere products

About the material

Cashmere is an animal fiber (hair) obtained from cashmere goats.
Cashmere goats are covered with coarse hair on the surface, and underneath that is soft down, which is called "cashmere." In order to survive the harsh winter, cashmere goats grow this down when it gets cold, and when it gets warm in the spring, it grows back into spring hair. It is a rare and special material that has developed to adapt to the harsh cold of nature, and is characterized by its excellent heat retention and moisture retention properties, as well as its light, soft feel and elegant glossy texture.
We use cashmere from Inner Mongolia. The high fiber density makes it thin and light, yet warm, moist and gentle to the touch, making it the highest class of quality in the world.
The design is by Aya, a cashmere designer, and is from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The products are originally produced at the Baoto factory, and the final product is inspected by Japanese eyes and hands before being delivered to our store, so you can use them with confidence.

Care and handling instructions

・Cashmere is a delicate material that is prone to pilling and fuzzing due to its delicate nature. If pilling occurs, gently remove the pilling without pulling it, or carefully cut it off.
- When wearing the product, friction or snagging may damage the fibers, so please be careful to avoid irritation as much as possible.
- After wearing, use a soft brush to remove any dirt or dust from the surface and smooth out the fur.
- Avoid continuous use and give the fibers a rest, such as wearing it for one day and then letting it rest for two days, which will help maintain the quality of the material for longer.
